The Bergen County History Archives document the county's rich history from the colonial period to the present day. The archives include minutes and documents from the county legislative body formerly known as the Bergen County Board of Chosen Freeholders, court and sheriff records, vital statistics, maps, photographs, and books.

The program will provide an overview of the archives’ collections and a demonstration of how to use the archives’ online catalog to locate local history and genealogical materials available at the archives. The catalog also contains digital collections including Freeholder’s minutes and documents, miscellaneous deeds and mortgages, historic site surveys, photographs, maps, and court records.
