This event will be moderated by Dr. Jacob Ari Labendz, Director of the Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Ramapo College.
Our guests include Scott Kelley Ernest, who spent at least twelve years in the movement. He was a recruiter for well- and lesser-known groups, a moderator for the extremist website "Stormfront," and an Oath Keeper. In 2019, Scott co-founded Hands of Eir, which helps LGBTQIA+ former extremists leave the movement. His work increasingly focuses on prevention rather than support for exit. Scott has helped ten people leave the movement, including our second guest.
Tyler Parker-DiPeppe is Scott's tenth client. After participating in a few skinhead gangs, he joined Atomwaffen in 2019. (The latter was one of the most notorious white supremacist accelerationist groups until its recent dissolution.) In 2000, Tyler was arrested for conspiracy to commit cyberstalking and interfering with federally protected activities.
